  1. I wanted to compliment your store at 12350 W. 64th Ave, Arvada, CO.
Although it looks simple on your webpage, it is not. I’ve tried opening several different pages three times. Please remember that there’s still a population that isn’t into the internet or even tries. I am 71. I own a business, and I found it so sad that I couldn’t even figure out your survey or feedback pages. So, I want the management of this store to know that an ‘old fart’ appreciated the cleanliness of their store and the transparent, precise pricing. Your Team was helpful and friendly. I especially liked that there was no ‘small talk’ going on on the floor, making it easy to ask questions politely. My Entry ID # if it matters 620-897-82-45-11-93 at 12:36pm 07/16/25. Thank you in advance, Jamie Burmeister 972-268-5554

  2. I visited the Kroger in Hampton, Virginia, in the Riverdale shopping centre today. Picked up a few items and went to the self-checkout. At the time, there were six registers open, and I was about the 20th in line, wrapped around the produce section. I waited in line for over 20 minutes. When I reached the front of the line, only to find two other people ahead of me, they shut down all the registers. At this time, there were about 20 people behind me. I called the store to speak to a store manager to find out what’s going on. No one answered. I was on hold for so long. The line disconnected. I’ve done this four times and was disconnected every time. I could hear the announcement over the intercom. After 10 minutes of this, I left my buggy right where I was standing and walked out of the store. No one ever came to explain why the registers were shut down, and we were all still standing in line. There were only three other registers open in the whole store, and they were backed up down the aisles. This was the worst experience I have ever had at Kroger, and the absolute worst customer service. The employee at the self-checkout shut the drawer to her stand and walked away, not saying a word or acknowledging the customers in line. If she needed a break, I understand, but you need to have a backup in place. I love shopping at Kroger, but this wasn’t very pleasant.

  3. Jeanne Bartlett Faraone

I attempted to access the survey to provide feedback, but was redirected to a $49.99 monthly sign-up, which I find unacceptable. I tried it 3 times and was always diverted and needed to enter my credit card to proceed, but had ONE FREE DAY! Then I was to be charged!!! So unacceptable!!. I wanted to provide positive feedback on my shopping trip today, but now I’m being misled into signing up by being offered a chance to provide feedback. Please reply and let me know WHY this happened! Thank you!

  4. I went to Kroger around 4 PM on Tuesday to pick up some items. It was hectic, with quick service and very friendly staff. Thanks very helpful.

  5. The gentleman in the bakery took time out to answer questions on a birthday cake. I appreciated him. The cashier was very friendly, and so was the bagger.

  6. My Name is Jim Lang, as stated above. This is about your store, 8999 Macomb St., Grosse Ile, MI 48138. I was very young when it opened. Now, at 72, I’ve been going to Kroger’s my whole life. I have seen managers come and go, and it’s the perfect store for training new ones.
In all the years, none of them had a perfect customer relationship; probably, they knew they weren’t going to be that long, but it was still a terrible attitude. There has been one and only one assistance manager who has been around for years; his name is Lloyd. He is always the most helpful manager you have. There isn’t a day that he doesn’t interact with customers. I see it when I’m there, and I go to Kroger’s two to three times a week. He mentioned his 25th anniversary at Kroger’s. I wondered why he wasn’t the store manager. He always helps people find items in the store, in addition to doing his regular duties. He works his ass off.
For some reason, your District Managers either don’t see this or don’t care. Personally, they seem weak; they report back that everything is excellent, it’s just a job, and they’re going to make it as easy as possible.
I hope the President of Kroger’s for Michigan has a chance to read this. If so, please call me at 734-755-5060, leave a message. I will be more than happy to talk to him.

  7. Just want to say that I always go to the Fred Meyer on Market, and the ID number is 701-103-21-90-122. I want to let you know that taking pictures to get the extra discounts is really a pain in the ass. But the worst part was Beatrice, my clerk; she did it to me last time, too, but I figured she was having a bad day. Still, she’s so afraid she’s going to put groceries in the cart that I had to stop and do it, and then she got irritated because I wasn’t doing my card fast enough in the machine, which I would have been able to just continue with if she’d put the damn groceries in the cart. Thank you

  8. I was going to purchase a 5x buy two, get three free Kellogg’s mini shredded wheat cereal, but they were out at Florence Marketplace, so I went to the service desk and was given a rain check stating 5x buy two, get three free. I waited a couple of weeks, making sure you have product on the shelf, went back to the store, picked up 25 boxes, went to cash out, and the store manager refused my purchase of twenty-five boxes, regardless of what the raincheck had indicated; the manager was adamant about refusing my purchase. If the store does not honour its commitment in writing, it doesn’t say much for the honesty and integrity of its word to satisfy its customers. My opinion of Kroger has fallen short, and I advise friends to think twice before trusting Kroger.

  9. It’s not very lovely that Fred Meyer cannot live up to their receipt policy. You have it at the door; let the ODS officers do their job !! Stop firing them because they’re doing their job and keeping your product in the store. I’m distraught right now, and an excellent ODS officer is getting fired because you won’t let them do their job. I’m getting sick and tired of watching the thieves walk out with everything, and you do nothing, nothing. Take the signs down then and let them freaking walk out. If you want the store to get robbed every day, thousands of dollars. You need to change the policies and let them do their job.
